Vlad The Inhaler Band Website Archive!
Vlad The Inhaler has had some sort of web presence all the way back to 1999 when I first learned web design and coding.
A few versions of the site are lost by time, but available ones are now archived here!
The 2007 version is one of my favorites, although ironically it was created at a time when the band was disbanded. It tells the true story of the band in a fantasy writing style. It was the last website for the band completely hand-coded before CMS’s became popular, and contained some really dynamic and cool effects functionality wise. It also was very cool graphic wise as the story was created to be read scrolling on what looked like an actual green scroll.

Original homepage had a flash intro video in homage to our iconic son Cowbells composed back in 1994. Later was replaced with a live video when flash video was no longer supported by the internet.
Band History Scroll Pages
Most of the website was the story of the band told on the ancient green scrolls handed down from Vlad The Inhaler himself! The story and some art spanned over a dozen pages like this.
Dedication Page
The 2007 website was dedicated to my two pets who we got living in the apartment around the time Vlad was created in 1994, and both passed shortly before the site was created. Elvira the Cat in 2005 and Medusa the dog 2006.
2010 Vlad The Inhaler Returns w/ Lineup Change Site Re-Launch!
In 2010 the band reformed with a new member replacing co-founder Vlad The Beholder on guitar, and around 2012 a new website was created to accommodate the new active lineup. The new site took over the VladTheInhaler.com domain, while the 2007 site was moved but left up as a testament to the original founders and lineup.

2016 Lineup Change & Second Official Release Revamp!
In 2016 after another lineup change, a new album about to release, and the existing website theme no longer supported by the current php, another revamp had to be done from almost scratch, keeping a similar but fresh look.

2021 Ghastly Wicked Vlad The Inhaler Merging Re-Vamp!
Finally in 2021, with again the website needing to updated to accommodate a new php version, the site was again revamped in a big way. Bringing together all the places to hear current music, purchase the last CD, buy stickers and shirts. Also combining the 2007 website “story of the band” website into the “current lineup” website as I felt it was probably well past time to also retire the 2007 site as far as internet security and such, and also wanted to lessen the amount of websites I have to maintain.
